Australis'a mining industry will be 'disadvantaged' by carbon tariffs

 

By  JOHN QUIGGIN | Reports that Britainís prime minister ,Boris Johnson, is considering calling for carbon border levies at the G7 summit to be held in London in June have produced a predictable reaction from the Australian government.

The levies would impose tariffs on carbon-intensive goods from countries such as Australia that havenít adopted a carbon price or a 2050 net-zero emissions target.
