Officials vow to step up work on climate change

NEW ZEALAND might not have an elected government just now, but officials are promising to step up on climate change.

“In the coming year, the government will move into an even stronger leadership role on climate change,” Environment  Secretary Vicky Robertson said in a speech to the Australia-New Zealand Climate Change and Business Conference in Auckland this week.
